Commercial solar for warehousing & logistics
Acres of roof, steady daytime operation and a fleet to charge. Warehouses are built for solar.
The opportunity
Solar built around your sector
Distribution centres and warehouses have two things solar loves: large, clear rooftops and consistent daytime operation.
That combination lets you install serious capacity and self-consume most of it, while setting the site up for EV fleet charging as your vehicles transition.

How warehouses use power
Why your load profile suits solar
Lighting, racking systems, conveyors, chargers and climate control run steadily through operating hours, with the bulk of consumption in daylight.
As logistics fleets electrify, on-site charging becomes a growing load, and solar is the cheapest way to feed it. Designing for that future now avoids costly retrofits later.
The benefits
What solar does for your business
Turn idle roof into income
Large warehouse roofs are perfect for big arrays, putting otherwise unused space to work cutting your power bill.
Ready for EV fleets
We can design the system and supply with EV charging in mind, so feeding your fleet from solar is a smooth next step.
Lower cost to operate
Solar trims the steady daytime load from lighting, handling equipment and climate control across the whole facility.
Strong, scalable returns
The scale of a warehouse array means meaningful savings and a clear payback, with room to expand as your load grows.
How we design it
The details we get right for you
Network export limits
Big arrays can hit export limits. We design around your supply so you maximise self-consumption rather than waste capacity.
EV charging headroom
If fleet charging is on the horizon, we factor it into the supply and design so you are ready without a rebuild.
Roof structure and age
We assess the sheeting and structure across large spans to ensure the mounting is engineered safely for the full array.

Warehousing solar questions
How big a system can a warehouse take?+
Warehouse roofs often support very large arrays, from 100kW into the megawatt range. The practical limit is usually your supply and export arrangement rather than roof space, which we work through in the design.
Can solar charge our EV fleet?+
Yes. Solar is the cheapest way to power EV charging. We design the system and electrical supply with charging in mind so you can feed your fleet from your own rooftop.
What happens to power we do not use?+
Excess can be exported for a feed-in credit, but the strongest return comes from self-consumption. We size the system so you use as much of your own solar as possible.
Is a battery worth it for a warehouse?+
It depends on your load shape and tariff. For sites with evening operation, demand charges or EV charging, storage can stack up. We model it so the numbers, not the hype, decide.
